How to coupon at Walgreen's

Are you new to couponing ? Because it really easy ...

Well let start by choosing one store near you that your familiar with, your aware of on going sales, a store member and you even might now where the clearance isle is. LOL

I have chosen Walgreen's and I'm quite familiar with the store near me ... haha  Well, today I had 2 manufacture coupons for Clairol Hair Dye ( $2.50 ) .. And I remembered the last time I was at the store several days ago, there was hair dye on clearance. So, by chance when arriving to my store and found the hair dye section, I saw that it was the correct brand and on sale for $4.29 and the store book of free coupons offered a  .50 cent coupon.

This means, the Clairol hair dye was $1.29 and PLUS this was a 2 for 1 deal. This hair dye kit came with a High light kit. :) :) WOW ! what a deal.

Oh, just to add the original price before the dye was on sale was $8.49 ...

So I grabbed 2 of those bad boys haha ... and oh, just a reminder, the Walgreen's coupon books are unlimited. Just be sure to check any coupon that limits you on 2 or more transactions.

hair dye $4.29 (org. $8.49) - manf.cpn $2.50 - store cpn .50 = $1.29  Wow!

                                                             Saved $ 7. 20 !!

My weekly savings & freebies !

So what have I saved this week and gotten for Free ?

Well lets start with Walgreen's :)

To get store savings, you want to enroll for free as a member in-store. And in every purchase that you make, you earn store points. And you can use those points to receive further discounts on your purchases.

Plus anyone who walks in the store can pick up a free coupon book to use that same day or later.

I myself took a small shopping trip to the store, seeking 2 boxes of Garnier Nutrisse hair dye. The boxes were on sale for $8.50,  but as a store member the sale was $6.99 each. I also had 2 coupons of $5 savings.

8.50 x 2 = 17$ - store member%  - $3 -5$ store coupon = 9 $ +1 tax = 10$
                                        $8 savings !

If I had a manufacture coupon too.. the savings would of been more :)

And the samples of Frutisse and John Frieda shampoo & conditioner are from store websites. You can go to target.com and walmart.com , go under their coupon tab or search box and type samples. And choose 1 from 2 options. You can do this weekly and receive samples in the mail weekly.

Target will also mail coupon books to you time to time with your samples  :)

Thanks for reading everyone ! :)
